Jersey Care & Washing Guide
Master-copy football kits feature heat-sealed sponsor graphics, player namesets, and embroidered crests. Follow these five rules to keep your matchday drip pristine season after season.
Always Wash Inside-Out
Turn your jersey inside-out before washing. This shields the vinyl sponsor decals and rubberized sleeve patches from friction against other garments or the washing machine drum.
Cold Water Only (30°C Max)
Hot water softens the thermo-reactive adhesive holding player names and numbers in place. Always use cold or lukewarm water with mild liquid detergent.
Never Use Fabric Softener
Fabric softeners coat moisture-wicking synthetic fibers with chemical residue, trapping sweat odors and chemically breaking down thermal vinyl adhesives.
Air Dry Naturally · No Dryers
Tumble dryers shrink synthetic fabrics and cause numbers to wrinkle and peel. Hang the jersey on a hanger in a shaded, well-ventilated room away from direct harsh sunlight.
Never Iron Over Decals
Direct contact with hot iron plates will melt vinyl prints instantly. If ironing is necessary, turn the jersey inside-out and place parchment paper or a thin cotton cloth between the iron and fabric.
Storage Recommendation
Store your jerseys on wide wooden or plastic hangers. Avoid tight folding directly across heavy numbers (such as 10 or 7) to prevent permanent crease creases in the print.
